David R. Mayhew (1937- ), Sterling Professor of Political Science at Yale University, was a Ph.D. student in the Government Department at Harvard University from 1958 to 1963. In the spring of 2008, Mayhew was a Visiting Professor of Government at Harvard and taught Government 2305, American Government and Politics.
